I could pretend that there was some deep, hard thinking about the color design of this site, but I'll be honest: it sort of fell together from a bunch of default colors and things that were supposed to be one-off elements that I just kept reusing. It's garish, sure, but I'll just use the term "high-contrast" and call it a day.
The black background is good old #000000 default black, of course.
